A German Air Force A340 ferrying Chancellor Angela Merkel and the German delegation to the G20 summit in Buenos Aires was forced to divert to Cologne-Bonn airport, Germany on Nov. 29 after the captain noticed several electronic systems onboard had malfunctioned.

Several fire trucks were on standby after the plane landed. The delegation spent the night in Bonn and will travel to Madrid later to catch a commercial flight to Argentina.
