The South Korean army has lifted the grounding of its KUH-1 helicopter on the eve of Christmas.

“At 9 a.m., the Army resumed the normal operation of the Surion choppers that have gone through the inspection and flight tests,” the Army said in a text message sent to reporters.
So far, one third of the KUH-1 fleet has undergone inspections to their main rotors.
