The U.S. Air Force will pay Boeing to redesign the boom on the KC-46A aerial refueling tanker.

The tanker’s boom is having problem disconnecting with the A-10 attack jet due to the latter’s lighter weight.
The boom has met the standard set by the service and thus Boeing is not to be blame for the issue. However, the aerospace firm has to fix the remote vision system on board.
