Upgrade allows B-52’s Conventional Rotary Launcher to power up eight munitions at one go

The B-52 bomber’s Conventional Rotary Launcher was previously limited to powering up four munitions at one time or else the circuit breakers would blow. A new upgrade to the electrical system was tested successfully on Feb. 11.

With the upgrade, the aircrew can now power up to eight munitions, increasing the bomber’s lethality in combat.
