The clearest satellite view of Changi East Air Base, Singapore was taken on May 6 by Sentinel 2 satellite. It clearly shows the two parallel taxiways west of runway 02R/20L.
At a width of 40 meters, the two taxiways are sufficient for the A330 MRTT to take off and land during emergencies.
It is interesting to note that large mounds have appeared to the east of the base. Right next to Tanah Merah Coast Road and north of the drainage canal.
