Singapore will be displaying tanks and military vehicles at its National Day Parade on Aug. 9 this year as part of the celebrations to mark the bicentennial.
Videos posted online of a recent rehearsal on the west side of the island shows a large gap between the air force and navy contingents. Only the SPYDER air defense missile system and the MB290 vehicle with the Mounted Portable Search and Target Acquisition Radar was seen at the site. Missing are the I-HAWK, RBS70 and newly-delivered Aster 30.
