Saab’s aeronautics chief Jonas Hjelm has said that his firm is willing to offer work-share and technology transfer to Colombia in order to secure a contract for the Gripen E.

He explained that the country’s aerospace industry is advanced enough and the arrangement with Colombia will be similar to the one with Brazil.
He also expects between 400 to 500 Gripen orders over the next 15 years.
