The U.S. Air Force has been using a C-12 to test airborne data transfer rate with SpaceX’s Starlink communication satellite constellation.

The Air Force Research Laboratory says the transfer rate was much higher than what the current aircraft are receiving using other platforms.
This month, the test program will be expanded to include the AC-130 gunship. It will be followed by the KC-135 next year.
