An Iranian Hendijan-class support ship, Konarak, was hit by a Noor anti-ship missile fire from frigate Jamaran during a training exercise in the Gulf of Oman on May 10.
Iran’s media reports that the incident killed 19 sailors and wounding 15. The Konarak was laying targets for other warships when it was struck. The Jamaran is lead ship of the Iranian Moudge-class frigates.
