The aerospace giant will start delivering the rotorcraft from 2024.
News of the purchase first surface on the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Export.gov website in August last year.
The U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency in November notified Congress on the potential Foreign Military Sale for 36 rotorcraft. Up to 18 of those helicopters can be equipped with the AN/APG-78 LONGBOW Fire Control Radar.
