Israel has asked the United States to accelerate the delivery of two KC-46A aerial refueling tankers.

The country requested that Washington allows it to take over two aircraft destined for the U.S. Air Force and the latter will take over the two jets that was supposed to be handed over to Israel in 2023.
The U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency announced on Mar. 3 that Israel was cleared to buy 8 KC-46As.
It has also been revealed that Israel has yet to signed the Letter of Approval to buy the jets.
