A MD-530F helicopter that was delivered to the Kenyan Army’s Joint Helicopter Command in January this year has crashed on Jul. 13, killing two people on board.
Six of these helicopters were handed over at Embakasi Barracks on Jan. 23. The country had placed an order for 12 MD-530Fs.
The mishap helicopter was on a routine mission when it crashed in Kithyoko, Masinga area around 10 a.m. local time.
