327th Airlift Squadron’s dirt landing practice Posted on August 28, 2020 by alert5 U.S. Air Force Reserve aircrew from the 327th Airlift Squadron land a C-130J Super Hercules on a dirt landing zone during the distributed operations training event near Charleston, W. Va., Aug. 25, 2020. The training event tested aircrew on their tactical combat airlift skills such as cargo airdrop, formation flights, and personnel delivery in a contested environment. There were a total of eight aircraft from various Reserve and Guard units supporting the training effort, enabling strategic depth and readiness for the force.
