Watch two Russian Su-27s cutting into the path of a B-52

At approximately 11:19 a.m. on Aug. 28, 2020, two Russian Su-27 Flanker pilots intercepted a U.S. Air Force B-52 bomber that was conducting routine operations over the Black sea in international waters. The Russian pilots flew in an unsafe and unprofessional manner while crossing within 100 feet of the nose of the B-52 multiple times at co-altitude and while in afterburner causing turbulence and restricting the B-52’s ability to maneuver.

Black Hawk from 160th SOAR crashes, two killed

The U.S. military says a Black Hawk helicopter assigned to 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment has crashed on San Clemente Island on Aug. 27. Two soldiers were killed and three injured.

China’s Military Museum of the Chinese People’s Revolution invites U.S. pilot to visit U-2 exhibit

China’s Military Museum of The Chinese People’s Revolution has invited U.S. pilots to come visit and see the U-2 exhibit in its halls. The invitation was published following an incident on Aug. 25 when a U-2 entered a live-firing area in the Yellow Sea.
