USFK needs replacement firing range for Apaches due to noise complaints

Complaints from local residents in South Korea has forced U.S. Forces Korea (USFK) to cancel a live-firing exercise for its attack helicopters on Nov. 16.

An AH-64 Apache augmented to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Aviation Regiment, 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade provides attack support to ground forces Sept. 21 at the Rodriguez Live Fire Complex in South Korea.

Greece sent LOR to Pentagon for buying the F-35

Greek publication Proto Thema reports that Athens has sent a letter of request (LOR) to the U.S. Department of Defense to buy the F-35 fighter.
