First HH-60W to arrive at Kirtland AFB

The first HH-60W helicopter for Kirtland Air Force Base arrived at the base on Dec. 17. The rotorcraft will be assigned to 58th Special Operations Wing.

Detachment 2 of the 58th Operations Group will operate the new helicopter.

  1. The oddity about the helicopter is that the USAF chose a picture taken from a distance where you cannot get a good look at it’s features as if it was a stealth helicopter! We have seen many other better pictures of the whisky!
