As we mark the 50th anniversary of the F-14’s first flight, an editor at WIRED was able to reach out to Ray Holt, one of the engineers who created the world’s first microprocessor – the Tomcat’s Central Air Data Computer.

F-16V to test counter Cruise Missile Defense role

The U.S. Air Force has been busy testing the new M7.3 update for the F-16 and will later the role of counter Cruise Missile Defense using jets equipped with the new AN/APG-83 AESA radar.
