F-35A acoustic and emission testing at RAF Lakenheath

The 134th Fighter Squadron from Vermont ANG traveled to RAF Lakenheath, England last month to help collect acoustic and emission data from inside the protective aircraft shelters at the base.

The two-week testing involved personnel from the F-35 Joint Program Office and members of the Air Force Research Laboratory as well.

Two F-35As were used during the test.
