This team defends the B-52 from cyber threats

A Mission Defense Team from the U.S. Air Force 2nd Communications Squadron is deployed out of Moron Air Base, Spain to defend the B-52 bomber from cyber threats.

The team’s primary mission is “to perform timely analysis of the B-52 Stratofortress’ cyber systems in search for security risks and data abnormalities during and after bomber missions,” according to the 2nd Bomb Wing Public Affairs.
