The last of 17 B-1s that are to be retired has left Barksdale

The U.S. Air Force has completed its divestiture of 17 B-1B bombers on Sept. 23 with the last aircraft departing for the boneyard at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base via Edwards.

Out of the 17 aircraft identified for retirement, only 13 will go to Davis-Monthan and only four are in a reclaimable condition.
