Linda Hapgood, who is from Australia, has been picked by Boeing to prepare efforts for the design of its next all-new commercial jet and the integrated production system that will assemble the aircraft.

She was the Chief Engineer of the KC-46A program at one point. The aerospace giant hired her in 1998 to work as the systems and software engineer on the F-111 Avionics update program for the Royal Australian Air Force.
