115th FW deploys to Saudi Arabia with the F-16 for the final time

The 115th Fighter Wing has deployed approximately 300 airmen along with a number of F-16s to Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia to provide agile combat air support for U.S. Central Command operations.

An F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to the 115th Fighter Wing, Truax Field, Madison, Wisconsin takes-off from Truax Field Oct. 11, 2021 for the units deployment to the Middle East. The 115th FW and its active associate, the 378th Fighter Squadron, deployed approximately 300 Airmen and a handful of F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft to Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia to provide agile combat air support for U.S. Central Command operations. MCAS Miramar will soon have a F-35B training squadron

MCAS Miramar will soon have a squadron of F-35Bs to train pilots on how to fly the STOVL fighter.

A F-35B Lightning II with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 121 taxis down the runway at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, August 7. Two F-35s from the squadron landed to refuel before heading back to MCAS Yuma to complete their flight.
