Retired Brig. Gen. Charles McGee, who was a member of the Tuskegee Airmen, has passed away at the age of 102 on Jan. 16.
McGee served in the Second World War as a fighter pilot with the 302nd Fighter Squadron in Italy. He also flew the P-51 in the Korean War. His last combat posting was to be the squadron commander of the 16th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron in South Vietnam.
