Egypt to buy 12 C-130Js and 3 air defense radars

The U.S. government has cleared the sale of 12 C-130J transport aircraft to Egypt for an estimated cost of $2.2 billion.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency also announced that Egypt is allowed to buy three SPS-48 for around $355 million.
