The U.S. Air Force has declared initial operating capability for its infrared search and track pod dubbed Legion Pod.
The milestone was reached on Jan. 22, according to Air Combat Command Public Affairs.
Full operational capability is expected later this year when all pods are delivered to F-15C tactical units.
