American International Contractors, Inc. has secured a $26 million contract to build an F-16 maintenance hangar for the Egyptian Air Force at Marsa Matrouh Air Base.

The 93rd EARS supported aerial refueling during Bright Star to both ensure participation from U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle aircraft assigned to the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing and provide training qualification opportunities for 12 Egyptian air force F-16 Fighting Falcon pilots. With a space of 6,608 square meters, the hangar can service four F-16s at the same time.
