A video released by the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory shows the new QUCKSINK anti-ship weapon obliterating a freighter during a recent test by breaking the ship’s keel.

The weapon, a modified 2,000-pound GBU-31 Joint Direct Attack Munition, entered the water at the side of the freighter and exploded underneath the ship. You can see clearly the initial shockwave of the explosion breaking the water’s surface after detonation.
