USAF’s first KC-10A, #79-0433, has retired to AMC Museum

#79-0433, the first KC-10A produced for the U.S. Air Force, has been retired to the Air Mobility Command Museum at Dover Air Force Base on Apr. 26.

This aircraft was the first of 60 manufactured for the U.S. Air Force and made its first flight on Jul. 12, 1980.

It will be put on static display at the 2022 Thunder Over Dover airshow later this month before being parked at the museum.
