Raytheon has secured a potential export order from Qatar to supply a Fixed Site-Low, Slow, Small Unmanned Aircraft System Integrated Defeat System (FS-LIDS) System comprising of 10 sets.
The FS-LIDS uses the Coyote Block 2 interceptor to defeat unmanned aircraft.
The Pentagon says the deal is worth up to $1 billion.
The system will utilize the Counter Unmanned Electronic Warfare System (CUAEWS) as well as Ku Band Multi-function Radio Frequency System (KuMRFS) radars.
