Turkey has developed a supersonic missile called the TRG-230-İHA, which was produced by the defense company Roketsan. It was launched from Baykar’s Akıncı unmanned air vehicle and successfully struck its target with full accuracy at a range of over 100 kilometers
The TRG-230-İHA is the air-to-surface version of the TRG-230. The TRG-230 is designed to be launched from tubes that are 230 millimeters wide and can travel a distance of between 20 and 70 kilometers.
Baykar Bayraktar Akıncı developed and produced by Baykar, a Turkish defense and technology company. The Akıncı is a medium-altitude long-endurance drone designed for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions, as well as electronic warfare and target acquisition. It has a range of over 7,000 kilometers and can operate at altitudes of up to 30,000 feet. On Aug. 29, 2021, the first three units were put into service with the Turkish Armed Forces.
