The ability of the Medium Range Surface-to-Air Missile (MRSAM) to function as an anti-ship missile interceptor has been verified with a recent test-firing from INS Visakhapatnam.
The information was released by the Indian Navy on Mar. 7.
The MRSAM is a surface-to-air missile that India co-develop with Israel and is also known as the Barak 8.
