The Bell 505 is expected to serve as an important asset for the Bahrain Defense Force to train its future generation of pilots. The package includes training, tooling, and spares to support the operation of the helicopters. Bell’s Managing Director of Africa and the Middle East, Sameer Rehman, expressed his pride in providing the Bahrain Defense Force with a premiere Bell asset.
The Bell 505 has become a popular choice for advanced military training in the Middle East and Africa region due to its low operating costs and high reliability. The UAE’s Horizon International Flight Academy operates 12 Bell 505s, and the Royal Jordanian Air Force signed an agreement for 10 Bell 505s in November 2022. The Bell 505 is also used by the Montenegro Air Force, Republic of Korea Army, and Republic of Korea Navy.
