Flight Safety International Inc., a renowned aviation training provider based in Columbus, Ohio, has recently been granted a Pentagon contract on behalf of the Israeli Air Force. The contract, valued at $9.9 million, encompasses pilot training programs for the Gulfstream V and Gulfstream G550 aircraft.
As part of this agreement, Flight Safety International will be responsible for delivering comprehensive initial pilot training for the Gulfstream V, as well as recurrent pilot training for both the Gulfstream V and Gulfstream G550. These training programs will play a critical role in enhancing the operational capability of Israeli Air Force pilots and ensuring their readiness for diverse missions.
The training will be carried out at various locations within the United States. Flight Safety International has established a network of advanced training facilities strategically located across the country, equipped with state-of-the-art simulators and training devices. These cutting-edge facilities offer a realistic and immersive training environment, enabling pilots to hone their skills and proficiency in handling the sophisticated Gulfstream aircraft.
The Israeli pilots are expected to come from 122 Squadron which operates a fleet of airborne early warning and signals intelligence aircraft using the Gulfstream V and G550.
