Phase I saw the 75th Rangers Regiment securing the airfield, a crucial first step in establishing a strategic foothold. Phase II brought the deployment of the High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) operated by the 17th Field Artillery Brigade.

They conducted live-fire exercises, launching six missiles, and received crucial support from the 109th Electromagnetic Warfare Squadron. This unit ensured secure communications for both the HIMARS and ground forces. The HIMARS, easily transportable by various means, including air, sea, and rail, demonstrated its adaptability in delivering long-range fire support.

Phase III marked the successful redeployment of all troops and equipment back to their bases, signifying the completion of the exercise. Six C-17 Globemaster IIIs, sourced from the 15th Wing, 62nd Airlift Wing, and the 3rd Wing, were instrumental in transporting troops and equipment.
