40th FTS clearing A-10 to carry 600-gallon fuel tank in combat

The A-10 section of the 40th Flight Test Squadron is carrying out flight tests to allow the A-10 to carry the 600-gallon fuel tank in combat.

Carry the fuel tank in combat will allow the A-10 to extend its loiter time by 45-60 minutes.
