Lockheed Martin has successfully launched the first Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) Boosted Test Vehicle (BTV) from a MK 41 Vertical Launch System (VLS) canister at White Sands Missile Range.

The LRASM BTV used a Vertical Launch Anti-Submarine Rocket (VL/ASROC) Mk-114 rocket motor in the process.
