B-52 with modified bomb bay to begin testing

A modified B-52 Conventional Rotary Launcher with MIL-STD-1760 capability has been installed at Edwards Air Force Base.

The 419th Flight Test Squadron will soon test the aircraft’s ability to employ JDAMs from the internal bomb bay of the B-52H.
