The owner of Ascom System Pvt Ltd has denied claims that a Phantom 3 quadrocopter was sold to the Indian military, the drone was later shot down over Pakistan.

“The defence ministry purchases equipment only from its registered vendors. I am not on the vendors’ list of the Indian Army and therefore I have not sold any quadcopter, which the Pakistani Army claims to have shot down on Jul. 15 on suspicion of spying on its soil,” Amit Nichani said.
