Sweden to offer military transport aircraft instead of Gripens to help France fight against ISIL

The Swedish government has rejected calls from opposition parties to send Gripen fighters to help France fight against ISIL in the Middle East.

Foreign Minister Margot Wallström said military transport flights will be offered instead. She added that Sweden might change its mind if there is a clear United Nations mandate.
