According to the press release, the customer has already deployed Elbit Systems’ long-range electro-optical (EO) cameras and sensors on its airborne platform.
The new contract is to upgrade those sensors and “provide the ability to perform advanced functions such as mission planning, battlefield management, terrain analysis and simulation modeling, both before and during intelligence-gathering operations.”
