Northrop Grumman awarded $93 million contract for Tern phase 3

The Pentagon awarded Northrop Grumman a $93 million contract for the Tactically Exploited Reconnaissance Node (Tern) program – phase 3 on Dec. 24.

By November 2017, Northrop Grumman will have to assemble and demonstrate a medium-altitude long-endurance unmanned air vehicle that can operate from smaller ships.
