Turkish militia who allegedly shot the Russian Su-24 pilot defends his actions

The Turkish militia who was named by the Russian Ambassador to Turkey of shooting the Russian Su-24 pilot has defended his actions.

Alparslan Çelik told Hurriyet Daily News that the pilot had pounded his position for five minutes and he felt that there “is no place for a person who has bombed civilian Turkmens” in his conscious.

“Reprisal is the most natural right. There is life in reprisal,” he added.
