CNO: Progress in joint development of next generation Indian aircraft carrier

Chief of U.S. Naval Operations, Adm. John Richardson, told reporters in India that progress is being made in talks over the joint development of India’s next indigenous aircraft carrier.

“We are making very good progress, I am very pleased with the progress to date and optimistic we can do more in the future. That’s on a very solid track.”

So far both sides had met at least once and another meeting is scheduled for this month in New Delhi.
