India on schedule to induct Astra BVRAAM next year

Testing of the Astra beyond-visual-range air-to-air missile (BVRAAM) is on schedule and the missile is on course to be inducted into the India Air Force next year.

The missile will be fired for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to see during the Iron Fist power demonstration at Rajasthan on Mar. 18.
