Second CH-53K makes maiden flight, flight envelop expanded to 120 kts

Lockheed Martin announced that the second CH-53K prototype has made its maiden flight on Jan. 22 and the flight envelope has been expanded to 120 kts.

To date these helicopters have achieved over 35 flight hours combined including multiple flights with an active duty USMC pilot at the controls, the press release said.
