Indonesia selects Chinese Type 730 CIWS for its KCR-60M missile attack craft

Two Indonesian Navy missile attack craft, KRI Sampari (628) and KRI Tombak (629), will both gain a stern mounted Chinese Type 730 close-in weapon system (CIWS) when they undergo refit later this year.

The Indonesian Navy has already decided to integrate the Chinese C-705 anti-ship missiles on these ships, thus China will also integrate its own combat management system (CMS) to link the warships’ other weapons together.
