Russia’s sole aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov will be undergoing a long-term refit starting next year and a contract will be awarded soon, TASS reports.

Sevmash shipyard and Zvezdochka Ship Repair Center are among the bidders, an anonymous source said.
The same source added that the refurbishment is to replace the aircraft arresting system and flight deck coatings.
