9th Bomb Squadron has been busy going after drug smugglers

For the past 14 months, the B-1B crews assigned to 9th Bomb Squadron have been busy helping the Joint Interagency Task Force South hunt for drug smugglers in the East Pacific and West Caribbean Ocean.

So far, the B-1Bs have flown more than 350 flight hours on detecting and monitoring illicit drug trafficking and help confiscate more than 5800 kilos of drugs.
