38 North: No missile silo at Pumyong-dong

A recent Voice of America article suggested that North Korea has built itself a missile silo at Pumyong-dong. The folks at 38 North did their own analysis and concluded that there is no missile silo there.

They did a review of historical satellite imagery of the Pumyong-dong bunker during its construction and found that there was no vertical excavations.

Furthermore, the purported missile processing or check-out building nearby lacks drive through access and wide-radius circular roads needed by TELs.
