The Malaysian national news agency Bernama reported that Air Force chief Gen. Affendi Buang has refuted recent media reports on Japan’s transfer of P-3C maritime patrol aircraft to Malaysia.

Speaking to the press during the Innovation Award ceremony, Affendi was quoted as saying that the service “have not received any formal offer or decision so far.”
